Time for a Medicare Plan Review
What is Medicare Advantage?
Medicare Advantage Plans May be for you
Medicare Advantage is a type of health insurance plan in the United States that provides Medicare benefits through a private-sector health insurer.
Medicare Advantage plans, also known as Part C, provide the same coverage as Medicare Part A and Part B. In some areas, they may provide additional benefits at no extra premium cost.
Medicare Part A & Part B
The plan has two parts: Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. Part A is referred to as hospital insurance and covers care at hospitals (inpatient), some short-term care at skilled nursing facilities, hospice care and more. Part B is medical insurance and covers doctors' services, outpatient care, preventive care, and medical supplies.
Medicare Advantage Part C: Additional Benefits
Medicare Advantage, also known as Part C, is a type of insurance option that offers traditional Medicare coverage and often includes additional benefits. Medicare Advantage plans must offer the same minimum coverage as Original Medicare Plans. Some Medicare Part C plans even offer additional health coverage benefits such as:
